County Lines Kingpin Busted: Five Years for Drug Lord Collins
Drug Dealer Caught Running Crack and Heroin into Eastbourne
Shevane Collins, 32, from Lewisham, London, has been slammed with a five-year jail term after masterminding a County Lines operation flooding Eastbourne with crack cocaine and heroin. The notorious dealer ran his drug racket from September 2020 to January 2021, targeting the Hampden Park area.
Five-Day Trial Uncovers Full Scale of Operation
After a five-day trial at Lewes Crown Court, Collins was convicted of multiple serious drug offences. Police tracked him using phone records and his car, catching him with crack cocaine twice in early 2021. Officers also seized over £3,000 in cash during a raid on his home.
Guilty on All Charges
- Supplying crack cocaine
- Supplying heroin
- Possession of crack cocaine
Despite Collins’ denials at his arrest in April 2022, the jury found him guilty on every count.
“Collins’ offending shows how County Lines devastates communities by flooding them with dangerous drugs,” said Detective Constable David Brown of the Economic Crime Unit. “We are determined to disrupt these networks and bring offenders to justice.”
Collins now faces five years behind bars—a stark warning to anyone profiting from deadly drug gangs preying on vulnerable communities.
