Eastbourne Man Caught as Top Admin of Child Abuse Rings
A 25-year-old from Eastbourne has admitted to running horrific child sexual abuse networks. Joao Carlos Jardim dos Santos Teixeira was a top admin for vile online groups trading appalling content on Telegram and the dark web.
Mastermind Behind ‘Sugar Heaven’ and ‘Naughty Room 3.0’
After a deep dive by the National Crime Agency, investigators uncovered Teixeira’s role at the core of two depraved groups: Sugar Heaven and Naughty Room 3.0. These gangs shared thousands of vile images featuring children under 12.
At Lewes Crown Court, Teixeira confessed to 12 charges, including possessing over 13,000 abusive images—many of the most severe kind. He also pleaded guilty to distributing indecent material between May 2023 and February 2024 and helping exploit a 13-year-old boy sexually.
Prosecutors revealed these groups had strict hierarchies. Teixeira was voted in as admin, giving him power to organise and conceal these sick crimes.
Judge Rejects Claims of Mitigation, Sentencing Looms
Teixeira’s defence claimed he intended to expose a man who molested him as a child. The judge slammed this defence, making it clear it doesn’t reduce Teixeira’s guilt. He now faces a heavy jail term, with sentencing set for February.
Encrypted Apps and Dark Web Under Police Fire
Law enforcement warns encrypted apps like Telegram and dark web sites are safe havens for child abusers. These platforms’ privacy and anonymity have turned them into global hubs for child abuse material.
UK and international agencies are racing to smash these twisted networks and bring predators like Teixeira to justice.
