A man was seriously injured in a traffic incident on Dog Kennel Hill, SE22, London, on 4 June. The London Ambulance Service responded swiftly, dispatching ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response vehicles, and an incident response officer to the location.
In addition to ground units, an Air Ambulance helicopter from Kent Surrey Sussex was deployed to support the emergency services at the scene. This deployment highlighted the severity of the incident and the need for specialist medical assistance.
The London Ambulance Service received the alert at 11:02am and immediately sent multiple units to the site of the incident. Fast response cars and an incident officer were instrumental in providing rapid assessment and urgent care to the injured man.
Following initial treatment at the scene, the man was transported by road to a major trauma centre for advanced medical care, ensuring he received the necessary specialist treatment.
