A 17-year-old has been arrested following a stabbing at a house party in Church Eaton, Staffordshire, on the night of Saturday 30 May. Staffordshire Police were called after West Midlands Ambulance Service alerted them at 11.25pm to a property on Church Eaton Road where a man had been stabbed.
The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment but was discharged the following day. Police have spoken to several attendees at the party as part of their ongoing investigation.
The teenager, from South Staffordshire, was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding. After questioning, he was released on bail with conditions while inquiries continue.
Staffordshire Police are urging anyone who was at the party or in the area at the time to come forward, especially those with CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that could assist the investigation.
