Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist suffered serious, life-changing injuries when he was in collision with a car in Shoreham on Tuesday afternoon (May 26).
Emergency services were called to the scene in Kingston Lane at 6pm following the collision between a Land Rover Discovery and the cycle, ridden by a 50-year-old man from Shoreham. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment, where he remained on Friday (May 29).
The Discovery driver, an 80-year-old man from Steyning, was uninjured. The road was reopened shortly after 9pm.
