Police investigating the theft of two pushbikes from a property in Eastbourne have charged a man with handling stolen goods

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Hastings.

About 12.20pm on Monday 8 June, the 29-year-old victim was walking through Alexandra Park when he became aware of a man walking behind him who shouted out to him.

Having ignored him and carried on walking, the victim subsequently left the park, crossed St Helen’s Road and started walking into Ashford Road, where he was robbed.

The suspect got away with a small quantity of cash, a bank card and a packet of cigarettes.
