Police investigating the theft of two pushbikes from a property in Eastbourne have charged a man with handling stolen goods. 

Officers were called around 12.15pm on Friday, April 17 to a report of two bicycles being stolen from an address in Upper Avenue. 

The bikes were later found at an address in Enys Road, Eastbourne, and have been returned to their owners. 

Jordia Santana, 47, unemployed, of Enys Road, Eastbourne, has been charged with handling stolen goods. 

He has been released on conditional bail to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on May 27.
