Three men have been charged with burglary after police on patrol attended a break-in at a supermarket in Worthing. 

Officers driving in a marked police car spotted a smashed door at Tesco Express, Goring Way about 12.30am on Wednesday, 15 April. 

Approaching the shop car park, they were flagged down by employees reporting a break-in. 

 

Officers arrested three suspects at the scene. 

George Horsted, 22 of The Quadrant, Goring-by-Sea, has been charged with burglary and remanded. He will appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 16 April. 

Simba Mujikeni, 22, of no fixed address, and Philip Vincent, 50, of The Quadrant, Goring-by-Sea, have been charged with burglary and bailed.

They are due to appear at the same court on 5 May.
