Council Sub let out car park due to Mc Queues in Burgess Hill

It’s clear from the queue of cars in  the car park  on Wednesday that many people have been relishing the reopening of McDonalds in Burgess Hill.

Mid Sussex District Council want to help Sussex Police maintain a safe flow of traffic in the area so they have negotiated a temporary licence with the franchise owner, where McDonalds will pay the council to use the Station Road car park until Monday 15 June.

Things will return to normal on 15 June when other shops, businesses and schools will begin to open and the car park will be needed for people who want to visit the shops and for others’ returning to work.
