Witnesses sought to attack on woman in Queens Road Hastings

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in the Drive  Hove.

Police in Hastings who arrested a man after an incident in the town centre in which a woman sustained facial injuries, are appealing for witnesses.

Between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on Thursday 25 June, the 28-year old woman was assaulted in Queens Road, Hastings, near the money shop and Erol’s kebab shop.

A man aged 38 was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, and after being interviewed was released on police bail until 23 July while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Jay Fair said; “If you witnessed this incident or saw anything else that would help our investigation around this time in the area, please contact us, either online by calling 101 quoting serial 1728 of 25/06.”

The two people involved are known to each other.
