Suspect Faces Life Behind Bars
Cody Ackland, 24, appeared at Plymouth Crown Court wearing jeans and a grey jumper to enter his plea. He confirmed his identity and admitted killing the teen between 19 and 23 November.
“The only issue will be the minimum term,” warned Judge Robert Linford, scheduling sentencing for 19 May and confirming Ackland faces a life sentence.
