Met Police officer PC Vinnie Finlay, who serves with the Central West command unit, has been charged with voyeurism following an incident in Kingston on Sunday, 11 May 2025.

He is scheduled to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 25 June 2025. Since Tuesday, 19 May, PC Finlay has been suspended from duty.

The charges concern a single victim and relate to an incident that took place earlier this year in Kingston. Details about the case remain limited as it is still active.

Following the allegations coming to light on 19 May, the Metropolitan Police suspended PC Finlay immediately while further investigations continue. The police force has stressed its commitment to upholding public trust and integrity throughout the process.

PC Finlay’s initial court hearing is set for 25 June at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court. The case will then proceed through the legal system accordingly.
